DNA Layer AI guide support

Connect and use a guide

1. Add the DNA Layer guide from the Claude or OpenAI directory, or use the custom-connector URL supplied by DNA Layer during testing.
2. No DNA Layer account, subscription, sign-in, or test data is needed for the public educational guides.
3. Ask one general question that matches the guide, such as how to reuse an existing DNA test, assess a common genetics claim, or compare biological-age tests.

Each guide is read-only and uses fixed topic choices. It cannot upload a file, inspect a report, change an account, place an order, or run a personal health analysis.

Keep personal information out of the chat

Do not enter raw DNA, genotypes, report text, family histories, symptoms, medication details, laboratory values, wearable exports, or other personal health information. A refusal to process those details is expected safety behavior, not a connection error. Read the full privacy policy and the AI-guide privacy boundary.

Troubleshooting

• The guide cannot connect: retry once, then remove and reconnect it. For a custom connector, confirm that you used the complete HTTPS URL supplied by DNA Layer without changing its path.
• The wrong guide was selected: name the job directly—for example, “compare DNA test types” or “check a longevity evidence claim”—and do not include personal results.
• A personal request was declined: remove the personal value or record and ask the general educational question instead.
• The answer looks incomplete or outdated: reconnect the guide and send the exact question, guide name, approximate time, and source link to support. Do not send DNA or health records.

Email contact@dnalayer.ai for setup help, inaccurate content, privacy questions, or security concerns. Include the guide name, platform, approximate time, and a non-sensitive description of the problem. Never email DNA files, genotypes, reports, credentials, access tokens, or medical records.
