The report starts by grouping findings into consumer health areas such as nutrients, heart, metabolism, brain, sleep, fitness, medications, and prevention. It surfaces patterns worth reading first instead of presenting hundreds of unranked SNP rows.
Evidence and limits stay attached to the finding
DNA Layer matches genotypes in deterministic software before any language-model explanation. Each supported finding carries its evidence strength, sources, and limitations. Unlocking includes an agentic report export with the verified findings and citations. It is designed to give Claude, ChatGPT, or another assistant grounded context for follow-up questions instead of asking a general chatbot to interpret the original raw DNA file unaided.
What leaves the browser, and what is retained
In the browser upload flow, the original raw file is read on your device. DNA Layer sends the supported marker data and technical metadata needed to build the layer and does not intentionally retain the original file in that flow. Derived findings, evidence records, and generated guidance remain private to your account so the report remains available. Why this is representative, not redacted
A redacted report would begin with customer-derived findings and obscure selected details. This sample instead starts without a person’s raw file, identity, or findings. It shows the production interface and report structure while avoiding the publication of someone’s genetic results.
